Java 27 boring? Not anymore. The memes have arrived.

Java’s father, James Gosling, conducted a totally scientific survey of the developer community and discovered a strange truth:

Everyone loves Java.

Everyone is still using Java.

According to Oracle’s Java 27 release notes, Java 27 may be a little faster thanks to Compact Object Headers being enabled by default—and a little harder to scare, thanks to hybrid key exchange for TLS 1.3.

So yes, Java 27 might be faster and more secure.

Still boring. Just boring at higher performance and with better encryption.
